Is it possible to get feedback removed or reset?

Prior to posting feedback it clearly states, "Leave feedback only after the project is completed.  All feedback is final and cannot be changed once posted."

Feedback is based on the OPINION of an Elance member's experience with another member after they have engaged in a project.

Elance does not normally allow feedback to be change for the following reasons:
A. The feedback policy is implemented consistently across all providers

B. The feedback policy is strict as removing feedback would undermine the integrity of the system

C. Buyers and providers should be confident that feedback reflects actual experiences and is not a negotiation tool

D. Many of the most successful providers have overcome bad feedback

Elance will only consider removing feedback under the following scenarios:
1. Feedback or information posted seeks to elicit or solicit any User's contact information, such as other Users' email addresses, for any non-Elance related commercial or business purposes or to transmit any unsolicited advertising, "junk mail", "spam" or "chain letters".

2. Feedback or information posted contains language that is profane, vulgar, racist, or contains adult material. Insulting or inflammatory feedback is strongly discouraged but will not be removed.

3. Feedback or information posted is shown to have been left by any User who is in violation of Elance's Eligibility requirements, or by or for a User who has conducted any fraudulent transaction.

4. Feedback or information posted is not directly related to transactions conducted through Elance.

5. Feedback or information posted makes any reference to actions taken or purported to be taken by Elance or any law enforcement organization.

6. When Elance is provided with a ruling or settlement agreement from a valid and certified dispute resolution service, or is provided with a court order finding that the disputed feedback is slanderous, libelous, defamatory or otherwise illegal.

7. The User who left feedback provided Elance with false contact information during the transaction period (as verified by Elance), and cannot be contacted by Elance.

8. The User who left feedback is participating in an Elance transaction with the intent of leaving feedback as part of a campaign to harass Elance member(s) (as verified by Elance).

9. Negative feedback that was intended for another User only when the User responsible for the mistaken feedback contacts Elance and places the same feedback for the appropriate User. This does not apply to a feedback that was mistakenly marked negative instead of positive or vice versa, in which case the User can contact Customer Service to file a feedback review request.

As a provider and you receive poor feedback, Elance recommends to:
I. Respond to the feedback in a thoughtful manner.  Many buyers expect a bad review or two but pay close attention to the response of the provider when determining if they would like to work with your company.

II. Solicit more feedback from current customers to raise the % score.

III. Communicate clearly throughout the project to ensure there are no feedback surprises.
