How to use Elance Call as a Provider?

Elance Call makes it easier for potential customers to reach out to you and may contribute towards more business connections and lead generation.  Employers will initiate the Elance Call directly from your bid or provider profile by clicking the 'Contact Me' button and the 'Elance Call' tab.  

    How does it work?

• You will designate your phone number to receive calls on your Profile Edit page.
• To edit your profile, go to MyElance  > Provider Profile > Edit General Information.
• Go to the Contact Information section and enter the number in the ‘Phone Number’ field.
• Please enter the U.S./Canadian area code and phone number.  If you are outside of the U.S./Canada, be sure to enter a plus symbol ‘+’, the full international country code, and phone number.  Then, scroll down and click on the ‘save’ button.  (Note: Elance Call will only work with direct numbers.  Phone numbers with extensions are not supported for Elance Call at this time.)
• This phone number will be used for Elance Call and will be displayed on your profile.
• If you don't want to receive calls via Elance, please leave the 'Phone Number' field blank, scroll down and click on the ‘save’ button.
• After entering your phone number and saving your profile, you may want to test if buyers can successfully connect with you by clicking on the 'Contact Me' button and clicking on the 'Elance Call' tab on your own profile.   
• Only registered Elance employers who have authenticated the credit card used in the $10 deposit or have made a payment to a provider, can contact you via Elance Call.
• Elance Call is only available for providers with paid memberships.

NOTE: The Elance Call feature is monitored for abuse.  Any providers with questionable Elance Call activity will be suspended from Elance.
