What payment methods can I use to pay my service provider through Elance?

Employers may use their Elance Account balance, an authenticated credit card, or PayPal to pay their service providers via Elance.

Elance Account: Employers in the U.S. may fund their account with a check or ACH transfer to pay a service provider via Elance. Buyers outside the U.S. may fund their account with a wire transfer to pay a service provider via Elance.

PayPal: Employers who have a PayPal account can pay a service provider through the Elance Payment Service.

Credit Card: Employers in certain countries can pay a service provider with a Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit card through Elance. All buyers must have an authenticated credit card to pay a service provider via the Elance Payment Service.
