How do I delete my credit card or bank account number on MyElance Account page?
To remove a credit card or bank account from your Elance Account page, please follow the steps below:
1. Login to your MyElance Main Menu page.
If you are not logged in, enter your Elance username and password.
2. Click the 'My Account' > 'Account Details' link on the left panel.
3. Click on the delete link next to the associated account you wish to have removed.
4. Click submit to confirm deletion.
NOTE:
For employers, if you delete your authenticated credit card, you will not be able to make a payment to a service provider or fund an Escrow project with that credit card. If you need to make a credit card payment to a service provider or fund an Escrow project, you will have to enter a new credit card and authenticate it.
For providers, if you have a membership tied to a credit card that you have removed, you will need to update your membership payment method to avoid any disruptions in service.
